HDSP sends direct position and velocity commands to The Handy over the local network. HSSP is The Handy's cloud sync mode. You upload the funscript to The Handy's servers, then send a play command with a timestamp. HDSP (Handy Direct Stroke Protocol) sends real-time position and velocity commands over your local network, giving frame-accurate funscript sync with sub-100ms latency when your Handy is on the same WiFi as your computer. HSSP (Handy Server Sync Protocol) is the cloud mode: you upload the .funscript to The Handy servers, then trigger playback with a timestamp. Connecting takes about two minutes. First, connect The Handy to your WiFi network using the official Handy mobile app or handyfeeling.com setup page. HSSP mode has a practical upload limit of approximately 5 MB per script, which covers virtually all realistic use cases. If you are bumping into size limits, your script almost certainly has redundant keyframes.
