How to Use the Svakom Sam Neo 2 with Funscripts

Step-by-step guide to using the Svakom Sam Neo 2 with funscripts in HaptiQ via Connect toy in Chrome or Edge (built-in engine, nothing to install) — plus how script motion maps to this onahole.

The Svakom Sam Neo 2 connects with Connect toy in Chrome or Edge. Buttplug’s config gives it vibration, which follows the speed of the script, and a constrict (suction) output that HaptiQ leaves on the toy.

What the Svakom Sam Neo 2 supports

From Buttplug’s device config (v4.198), built into HaptiQ:

Connect the Svakom Sam Neo 2

Computer: Chrome or Edge (Windows, Mac, Linux, ChromeOS)

  1. Sign in to HaptiQ (a free account works) and open Devices.
  2. Switch the toy on. Close the maker’s app and disconnect the toy from your phone: a Bluetooth toy accepts one connection at a time.
  3. Press Connect toy. The browser opens its Bluetooth list. Pick your toy and press Pair.
  4. HaptiQ reads what the toy can do and shows it as labels (for example Vibrate or Stroke). Press Test buzz or Test stroke to check it responds, then Ready — go play.
  5. On Linux, Chrome keeps Bluetooth behind a setting: open chrome://flags/#enable-experimental-web-platform-features, enable it and restart Chrome.

Android: Chrome or the HaptiQ Android app

  1. Open haptiq.app in Chrome, or install the HaptiQ Android app from haptiq.app/android.
  2. Allow Nearby devices when Android asks (on Android 11 or older it asks for Location instead). Without it the Bluetooth list stays empty.
  3. Open Devices, press Connect toy, pick your toy and press Pair. Samsung Internet and Firefox for Android cannot use Bluetooth, so use Chrome or the app.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Safari and every other iPhone browser block Bluetooth, so Connect toy cannot work there.
  2. The HaptiQ iPhone app connects toys directly and launches this October.
  3. Today, install Bluefy (a free browser with Bluetooth support, on the App Store), open haptiq.app in it, and use Connect toy as on a computer.
  4. The Handy is the exception: it connects over Wi-Fi, so it works in any iPhone browser.

Safari or Firefox on a computer

  1. Safari and Firefox do not support Web Bluetooth. Open haptiq.app in Chrome or Edge on the same computer.
  2. If you already run Intiface Central, HaptiQ can use it instead: Devices → Advanced → Use the Intiface Central app. You do not need it otherwise; the engine Intiface uses is built into HaptiQ.

Device Doctor fixes

Bluetooth is off
Device Doctor checks this first. On Windows turn it on in Settings → Bluetooth & devices; on a Mac use Control Centre; on Android pull down the quick settings. Then press Connect toy again.
Bluetooth permission was blocked
Click the icon left of the address bar → Site settings and allow Bluetooth for haptiq.app. On Android, allow Nearby devices for Chrome (Settings → Apps → Chrome → Permissions) or for the HaptiQ app.
The Bluetooth list is empty
The toy is not advertising. Usual causes: it is off or asleep, it is still connected to the maker’s app or your phone, or it is too far away. Wake it, close the other app, keep it within a metre and press Connect toy again. If the list is still empty, run Device Doctor and press Send diagnostic log so the case can be checked.
Found, but it does not answer or keeps dropping
Close every other app that might hold the toy (the maker’s app, Lovense Remote, Intiface), turn the toy off and on, charge it, and keep it close. Device Doctor reconnects it and runs a feel test. For JoyHub toys, Advanced → Classic Bluetooth mode is a second path if the first one stalls.
Wrong mode
The Handy must be in HDSP mode for web playback; Device Doctor switches it for you. Some JoyHub models show “This model runs smoother in Classic Bluetooth mode” after connecting; press Switch.
Connected, but nothing moves
Run Device Doctor: it sends a test command and asks whether you felt it. Also check the part of the script you are playing actually moves; a flat section of a funscript produces genuine stillness.

Open Device Doctor

Sync offset calibration

  1. Connect the toy, then open Device Doctor (Devices → Device Doctor, or haptiq.app/devices?doctor=1).
  2. Let it run to the Sync calibration step. It measures how late the toy acts and saves that as the toy’s sync offset, so commands go out that many milliseconds early.
  3. If the lag cannot be measured, HaptiQ uses the typical offset other owners of the same toy calibrated, or none at all; the Doctor says which.
  4. The offset is stored per toy and per connection type (built-in Bluetooth, Intiface, Wi-Fi), within ±1000 ms. Run the Doctor again after you change how the toy connects.
  5. Steady lag is what an offset fixes. Lag that comes and goes is signal: move closer, charge the toy, and keep 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi traffic away from it.

Troubleshooting

Why won't my Svakom Sam Neo 2 show up when I try to connect?

Three things account for almost every case. First, the browser: Web Bluetooth exists only in Chrome, Edge, Opera and other Chromium browsers, so in Safari or Firefox the device can never appear no matter what you do. Second, an existing connection: Bluetooth LE toys accept one connection at a time, so close the manufacturer app and disconnect it from your phone first. Third, pairing mode — most units need a button held until the LED changes before they advertise at all.

Do I need to install anything to use the Svakom Sam Neo 2 with HaptiQ?

No. BT4LE is reachable from the browser, so there is nothing to install — no Intiface Central, no desktop app, no driver. If a guide tells you otherwise it is describing a different connection type.

The script plays but the device doesn't move. What's wrong?

The connection and the script are separate steps, and this symptom means the script is fine but commands are not arriving. Confirm the device still shows as connected — browsers drop a Bluetooth link when the tab is backgrounded on some platforms — then check the device is charged and not simultaneously connected somewhere else. A funscript with a flat section will also produce genuine stillness, so scrub to a section with obvious motion before concluding it is broken.

Why is the motion out of sync with the video?

A direct Bluetooth LE link is one of the shortest paths available, so a fixed delay should be small. If it is consistent, correct it with your player offset. If it comes and goes, that is radio interference rather than latency: 2.4 GHz is shared with WiFi, so move closer, remove obstacles, and charge the device — weak batteries cause sluggish response well before a device dies.

Can I use the Svakom Sam Neo 2 with funscripts I did not make myself?

Yes. A funscript is a plain motion file and carries no device information, so any script plays on any supported hardware. HaptiQ can also generate one from your own video, which matters when an existing script was timed to a different cut — that mismatch causes drift no offset can fix.
