How to connect VirtualMate Core to funscripts

Connect toy in Chrome or Edge (built-in engine, nothing to install)

1. Open haptiq.app in Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android phone (or use the HaptiQ Android app from haptiq.app/android), sign in, and open Devices.
2. Switch the VirtualMate Core on and close the maker’s app, so the toy is free to pair.
3. Press Connect toy and pick the toy in the browser’s Bluetooth list. The Buttplug engine is built into HaptiQ, so there is no Intiface Central and no download.
4. Load a funscript or generate one from a video and press play. If anything fails, Device Doctor checks Bluetooth, permissions and sync for you.

Does the VirtualMate Core work with funscripts?

Yes. A funscript is a device-agnostic motion file, so the same script plays on any supported hardware. HaptiQ converts the motion in a video into a funscript and streams it to your VirtualMate Core in time with playback.

How does the VirtualMate Core connect to HaptiQ?

The VirtualMate Core connects over Bluetooth Low Energy, directly from your browser using the Web Bluetooth API. That works in Chrome, Edge, Opera and other Chromium browsers on desktop and Android. Safari and Firefox do not implement Web Bluetooth, so use a Chromium browser. No extra software is required — no Intiface, no desktop app.

Do I need Intiface or Buttplug.io for the VirtualMate Core?

No. The VirtualMate Core pairs straight from the browser, so you do not need Intiface Central or any desktop software. HaptiQ also supports Buttplug.io if you prefer to route through Intiface.

Which browsers support the VirtualMate Core?

Use Chrome, Edge, Opera or another Chromium browser, on desktop or Android. Safari and Firefox do not support Web Bluetooth.

Can I generate a funscript for the VirtualMate Core from my own video?

Yes. Upload a video or paste a link, and HaptiQ's motion analysis produces a .funscript you can play on the VirtualMate Core or export for another player. Large files are uploaded in parts, so multi-gigabyte VR video is supported.

What kind of device is the VirtualMate Core?

The VirtualMate Core is an onahole. HaptiQ maps the vertical motion in a funscript onto whatever actuation the onahole provides, so scripts written for other hardware still play.
