JoyHub — Funscript-Compatible Devices
HaptiQ supports 115 JoyHub devices for real-time funscript synchronization.
How to connect JoyHub toys
Every JoyHub toy in HaptiQ’s index uses Bluetooth LE, and Buttplug’s config (built into HaptiQ) lists 137 JoyHub Bluetooth names. Press Connect toy in Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android phone and pick the toy. You do not need the JoyHub app, Intiface Central or a JoyHub cloud account.
- JoyHub toys show in the Bluetooth list as “J-” followed by the model, for example J-Martino or J-TrueForm3. A few use an older name (the PhoenixGP shows as J-Flamewing).
- Close the JoyHub app and disconnect the toy from your phone before you connect. A toy that is held by another app does not appear in the list.
- If a JoyHub toy is found but does not answer, open Advanced → Classic Bluetooth mode. That is HaptiQ’s older JoyHub path and some models run smoother on it.
- What a script controls depends on the model: vibration, oscillation and rotation follow the speed of the script; suction and squeeze outputs are never driven automatically.
Computer: Chrome or Edge (Windows, Mac, Linux, ChromeOS)
- Sign in to HaptiQ (a free account works) and open Devices.
- Switch the toy on. Close the maker’s app and disconnect the toy from your phone: a Bluetooth toy accepts one connection at a time.
- Press Connect toy. The browser opens its Bluetooth list. Pick your toy and press Pair.
- HaptiQ reads what the toy can do and shows it as labels (for example Vibrate or Stroke). Press Test buzz or Test stroke to check it responds, then Ready — go play.
- On Linux, Chrome keeps Bluetooth behind a setting: open chrome://flags/#enable-experimental-web-platform-features, enable it and restart Chrome.
Android: Chrome or the HaptiQ Android app
- Open haptiq.app in Chrome, or install the HaptiQ Android app from haptiq.app/android.
- Allow Nearby devices when Android asks (on Android 11 or older it asks for Location instead). Without it the Bluetooth list stays empty.
- Open Devices, press Connect toy, pick your toy and press Pair. Samsung Internet and Firefox for Android cannot use Bluetooth, so use Chrome or the app.
iPhone and iPad
- Safari and every other iPhone browser block Bluetooth, so Connect toy cannot work there.
- The HaptiQ iPhone app connects toys directly and launches this October.
- Today, install Bluefy (a free browser with Bluetooth support, on the App Store), open haptiq.app in it, and use Connect toy as on a computer.
- The Handy is the exception: it connects over Wi-Fi, so it works in any iPhone browser.
Safari or Firefox on a computer
- Safari and Firefox do not support Web Bluetooth. Open haptiq.app in Chrome or Edge on the same computer.
- If you already run Intiface Central, HaptiQ can use it instead: Devices → Advanced → Use the Intiface Central app. You do not need it otherwise; the engine Intiface uses is built into HaptiQ.

Device Doctor fixes
- Bluetooth is off
- Device Doctor checks this first. On Windows turn it on in Settings → Bluetooth & devices; on a Mac use Control Centre; on Android pull down the quick settings. Then press Connect toy again.
- Bluetooth permission was blocked
- Click the icon left of the address bar → Site settings and allow Bluetooth for haptiq.app. On Android, allow Nearby devices for Chrome (Settings → Apps → Chrome → Permissions) or for the HaptiQ app.
- The Bluetooth list is empty
- The toy is not advertising. Usual causes: it is off or asleep, it is still connected to the maker’s app or your phone, or it is too far away. Wake it, close the other app, keep it within a metre and press Connect toy again. If the list is still empty, run Device Doctor and press Send diagnostic log so the case can be checked.
- Found, but it does not answer or keeps dropping
- Close every other app that might hold the toy (the maker’s app, Lovense Remote, Intiface), turn the toy off and on, charge it, and keep it close. Device Doctor reconnects it and runs a feel test. For JoyHub toys, Advanced → Classic Bluetooth mode is a second path if the first one stalls.
- Wrong mode
- The Handy must be in HDSP mode for web playback; Device Doctor switches it for you. Some JoyHub models show “This model runs smoother in Classic Bluetooth mode” after connecting; press Switch.
- Connected, but nothing moves
- Run Device Doctor: it sends a test command and asks whether you felt it. Also check the part of the script you are playing actually moves; a flat section of a funscript produces genuine stillness.
Open Device Doctor
Sync offset calibration
- Connect the toy, then open Device Doctor (Devices → Device Doctor, or haptiq.app/devices?doctor=1).
- Let it run to the Sync calibration step. It measures how late the toy acts and saves that as the toy’s sync offset, so commands go out that many milliseconds early.
- If the lag cannot be measured, HaptiQ uses the typical offset other owners of the same toy calibrated, or none at all; the Doctor says which.
- The offset is stored per toy and per connection type (built-in Bluetooth, Intiface, Wi-Fi), within ±1000 ms. Run the Doctor again after you change how the toy connects.
- Steady lag is what an offset fixes. Lag that comes and goes is signal: move closer, charge the toy, and keep 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi traffic away from it.
JoyHub questions
Does HaptiQ use JoyHub Cloud?
No. JoyHub toys connect directly over Bluetooth with Connect toy. There is no cloud step.
Why do I see “GATT operation failed” with my JoyHub toy?
The Bluetooth link dropped mid-command. Keep the toy close, charge it, close the JoyHub app, then reconnect. Device Doctor does the reconnect for you, and Classic Bluetooth mode is a second path if it repeats.

Frequently asked questions
Does HaptiQ work with JoyHub devices?
Yes. HaptiQ supports 115 JoyHub devices in its index, 115 of which are verified rather than inferred from a manufacturer listing. A funscript is device-agnostic, so the same motion file plays on any of them.
How do JoyHub devices connect to HaptiQ?
Every JoyHub device in the index connects straight from the browser — 115 over Bluetooth Low Energy via Web Bluetooth. No Intiface Central and no desktop software required.
Do I need Intiface Central for JoyHub?
No. Every JoyHub device here pairs straight from a Chromium browser. HaptiQ still supports Buttplug.io if you prefer routing through Intiface.
Which browsers work with JoyHub devices?
Web Bluetooth models need Chrome, Edge, Opera or another Chromium browser on desktop or Android — Safari and Firefox do not implement Web Bluetooth.
What kinds of JoyHub devices does HaptiQ support?
The index covers onahole (29), butterfly (13), rabbit (13), buttplug (12), insertable vibrator (11). HaptiQ maps the vertical motion in a funscript onto whatever actuation each one provides, so scripts written for other hardware still play.
Can I generate a funscript for a JoyHub device from my own video?
Yes. Upload a video or paste a link and HaptiQ's motion analysis produces a .funscript you can play on any JoyHub device or export for another player. Large files upload in parts, so multi-gigabyte VR video is supported.
