Frequently asked questions

Does HaptiQ work with iJoy devices?

Yes. HaptiQ supports 3 iJoy devices in its index. A funscript is device-agnostic, so the same motion file plays on any of them.

How do iJoy devices connect to HaptiQ?

It depends on the model: 1 connect directly from the browser (Web Bluetooth or WiFi) and 2 need Intiface Central because they use a transport the browser cannot reach. Each device page states which applies.

Do I need Intiface Central for iJoy?

For 2 models, yes — those use a transport the browser cannot reach, so Intiface Central bridges it. The other 1 pair directly from the browser with no extra software.

Which browsers work with iJoy devices?

Web Bluetooth models need Chrome, Edge, Opera or another Chromium browser on desktop or Android — Safari and Firefox do not implement Web Bluetooth. Models that use WiFi or connect through Intiface Central work in any modern browser.

What kinds of iJoy devices does HaptiQ support?

The index covers external vibrator (1), bullet (1), rabbit (1). HaptiQ maps the vertical motion in a funscript onto whatever actuation each one provides, so scripts written for other hardware still play.

Can I generate a funscript for a iJoy device from my own video?

Yes. Upload a video or paste a link and HaptiQ's motion analysis produces a .funscript you can play on any iJoy device or export for another player. Large files upload in parts, so multi-gigabyte VR video is supported.
