The Handy connects over Wi-Fi in any browser. If something fails, Device Doctor checks Bluetooth, permissions and sync and sets the sync offset for you. The Keon connects via Bluetooth LE (BLE 5.0) and supports the Nordic UART service, which HaptiQ uses to send position commands. Key specs for funscript performance:

Funscripts map positions from 0 (fully retracted) to 100 (fully extended). The Keon's physical stroke range affects how dramatic these movements feel. Use the + and − buttons on the Keon to set a stroke range that feels comfortable. A shorter stroke range gives more precise, faster movements; a longer range gives more dramatic but slower strokes.
HaptiQ's intensity slider (0–100%) scales the output position before sending it to the Keon. Setting intensity to 80% means funscript position 100 maps to Keon position 80, giving a softer ceiling for aggressive scripts.

Apply the speed-limiter plugin with a maximum of 400 units/second. This is the Keon practical ceiling based on motor response testing — beyond 400u/s the device audibly struggles and starts dropping position updates, producing mechanical noise without matching the script. Setting the limit at 400 prevents this while preserving natural motion for 95 percent of scripts. For Keon 2, you can push to 450u/s. Chain the speed-limiter after your smoothing plugins but before amplify, so amplification scales against a correctly-capped signal. Also enable the anti-jerk plugin — the Keon is particularly sensitive to instant direction reversals, and anti-jerk inserts 10–20ms transitional keyframes that eliminate the mechanical clunk while feeling indistinguishable at playback.
Usually one of four causes. First, BLE interference: close other Bluetooth connections, move within 2 meters of the Keon, and avoid other 2.4GHz devices. Second, missing speed-limiter: scripts generated for The Handy often have peaks the Keon cannot hit, so apply the speed-limiter plugin at 400u/s. Third, low battery: the Keon throttles motor speed below 20 percent charge to protect the cells, so plug in and test again. Fourth, browser-side: Web Bluetooth in Chrome occasionally develops multi-second stalls if the tab is backgrounded — keep the HaptiQ tab foreground during playback, or switch to Buttplug.io via Intiface Central, which maintains a more stable native connection.
